WILMINGTON- The Wilmington Police Department’s Cold Case Unit is requesting assistance from the public in connection with the 2017 murder of Andrew Pennewell. On November 19, 2017, officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 1200 block of West 3rd Street around 7:23 p.m. Upon arrival, police found 25-year-old Pennewell suffering from gunshot wounds.
