The Delaware State Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred in Dover late yesterday afternoon.
On February 10, 2023, at approximately 5:30 p.m., a 28-year-old man was walking northbound on North Dupont Highway south of Rose Bowl Road when he was unexpectedly approached from behind by two unknown black males. One of the suspects held what was believed to be a handgun to the victim’s head while one of the suspects took the victim’s wallet from his pocket. Both suspects then fled into a nearby wooded area on foot. The victim was not injured during the robbery.
There are no further descriptions of the two suspects, and no images or surveillance videos are available at this time.
The Delaware State Police Troop 3 Criminal Investigations Unit continues to investigate this case. Troopers are asking anyone who witnessed this incident to please contact Detective S.
