Delaware is the fourth-luckiest state in Powerball and Mega Millions history, a website promoting international online casinos has concluded.

Casino Arabi looked at jackpots since Aug. 24, 2014, when Wyoming became the 45th state selling lottery tickets.

Since then, Delaware has notched one jackpot win and a total combined jackpot amount of $121.6 million (and it has a 0% tax on lottery winnings).

Considering the state’s population of 1.03 million, that works out to be 10 lottery winners per 10 million residents, tying with New York.

At the top are New Hampshire (21 lottery winners per 10 million residents) and Vermont (15).

At the bottom of the list are 10 states – Idaho, Kentucky, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota and Wyoming – that have yet to produce any jackpot wins, even though somebody has won almost $39 billion in Powerball and Mega Millions jackpots since 2014.

Of course, the list is just for fun. Winning lottery tickets are not routed by geography.

Even though multiple websites have calculated the luckiest lottery numbers and the most popular Powerball numbers, those figures are only for fun as well.
