On November 6, 2025, members of the Delaware State Police Firearms Transaction and Purchasing Unit and the Delaware State Police Special Operations Response Team, responded to a residence on the 11000 block of Silent Hill Road in Bridgeville, following an investigation of Richard Banks, for the possession of firearms or ammunition as a person prohibited.|After an investigation into Richard Banks’ possession of firearms and ammunition by a prohibited person, the Delaware State Police Firearms Transaction and Purchasing Unit and Delaware State Police Special Operations Response Team responded to a home in the 11000 Block of Silent Hill Road, Bridgeville on November 6, 2025.|In the early morning of November 6, 2025 members of the Delaware State Police Firearms Transaction and Purchasing Unit and Delaware State Police Special Operations Response Team were called to a Bridgeville residence in the 11000 block Silent Hill Road after an investigation was conducted on Richard Banks for possession of ammunition or firearms as a prohibited individual.} {Detectives contacted Banks, who was in possession of a concealed handgun while trespassing on an adjacent property.|Detectives located Banks who had a concealed pistol while trespassing at an adjacent property.|Detectives approached Banks while he was trespassing in an adjacent yard. He had a handgun concealed.He was taken into custody without incident.|He was arrested without incident.|He was arrested with no incident.
