WILMINGTON — The City of Wilmington will host its Small Business Vendor Expo on Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Rodney Square.
The free, family-friendly event will spotlight the city’s vibrant small business community, featuring a variety of local vendors offering handmade goods, crafts, jewelry, apparel, wellness products, and more. Attendees will have the opportunity to shop unique items, meet local entrepreneurs, and enjoy the creativity that fuels Wilmington’s economic and cultural growth.

“Wilmington’s small businesses are the heartbeat of our community,” said Mayor John Carney. “This expo is a chance to celebrate the innovation and resilience of our local entrepreneurs while encouraging residents to support the people behind the products.”
The event will also include live music, food trucks, and interactive activities aimed at fostering community spirit and engagement. Organizers say the expo offers something for everyone, whether longtime residents or first-time visitors.
The Vendor Expo is part of the City’s broader initiative to support small businesses, promote local commerce, and create inclusive spaces that bring the community together.
