Wilmington Street Food Festival returns to the Riverfront May 17

WILMINGTON— The Wilmington Street Food Festival is set to return on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Tubman Garrett Riverfront Park.

The event will feature food from more than 25 restaurants and food trucks from the Wilmington area, with all food items priced at $5 or less. The festival aims to allow attendees to sample a wide variety of dishes in one location.

In addition to food offerings, the festival will include live entertainment, a general vendor market, kids’ activities, and interactive attractions such as axe throwing and eating contests. A breakdancing performance, mechanical bull riding, and an art walk are also scheduled.

All general admission tickets include one complimentary drink. VIP tickets, offer early entry, additional drink tickets, food vouchers, and access to a private VIP area with amenities such as a chocolate fountain and axe throwing voucher.

Children 10 and under can attend for free and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The event is open to all ages and is scheduled to take place rain or shine.

Proceeds from the festival will benefit the Trauma Survivors Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides mental health support to individuals and families affected by traumatic events.
