WILMINGTON- The Delaware Contemporary will host fundraising event the ART pARTy 25! on March 22nd, for its 4th year.
This year’s event title focuses on the museum’s 25th anniversary celebration.
Attendees will have a multisensory experience, merging contemporary art with culinary tastings. The event aligns with the museum’s current exhibition —Dinner Table. Which includes several exhibitions and galleries that revolve around the spirit of gathering, and the dinner table as an exchange of ideas, histories, and identity.
“It’s really an opportunity to talk, reflect, and, in this case, collaborate,” said Shefon Taylor, Delaware Contemporary Communications and Design Manager.

The event will also include a live performance by the Julie Max Band, a band based in Delaware. Along with a small art and mystery wine pool, which allows guests to collect art from artists based in Delaware or connected to the Delaware Contemporary.
“We’re looking to have our visitors come and celebrate what it means for different art to bring us all together. It’s about entertainment, fostering community connections, and bringing together cultural institutions and community members.”
There will also be a silent auction and a raffle pool, providing access to one-of-a-kind artwork, experiences, and special opportunities that attendees might not find anywhere else.
The Delaware Contemporary is always looking to support and work with artists.
“One of the things I’ve discovered during my time here is that most people don’t know that we’re a non-collecting museum. All of the exhibitions here are created by our curators and visiting artists. We want to be able to support them in real time.”
