Karen Laitman’s mother, grandmother, sister and maternal aunt all were diagnosed with breast cancer. Her mother, Elinor, died from it at the age of 56 in 1990. Her grandmother was diagnosed when she was 100, and the family doesn’t know how much of a factor it was in her death at 102. It’s a genetic curse that follows their heritage. …
