NEWPORT—Dill Dinkers, an indoor pickleball club franchise, marked the official opening of its Newport location Tuesday morning with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and community celebration.
Located at 500 Water Street, Dill Dinkers Newport welcomed guests for a grand opening event that included remarks from local leaders and complimentary open play on the facility’s 10 ProCushion courts. The event was hosted in partnership with the New Castle County Chamber of Commerce and the Delaware Small Business Chamber.
Governor Matt Meyer attended the ceremony, which highlighted the club’s role in expanding recreational amenities and supporting community development in the Newport area.

Dill Dinkers has grown rapidly as a franchise, known for cultivating a fun, friendly, and inclusive atmosphere at its indoor pickleball clubs. The Newport location is the latest addition to its network and the first in the Greater Wilmington area.
The public was invited to experience the new facility firsthand, with open play access available following the ceremony.
