Chris Kenny

Chairman of the Board, CEO, and President of Delaware LIVE    

Chris L Kenny, Esq. is a Delaware business leader and philanthropist with a mission to provide the Delaware community with engaging, action-oriented thought leadership on the state's greatest issues. As president and CEO of one of Delaware’s largest chain of supermarkets and current and former board member for over a dozen non-profits in the state, Chris Kenny offers unique insights into the Delaware business climate, economy, food industry, its people, and community. Chris Kenny firmly believes that active community engagement is an equalizer, improving the quality of life for all citizens of Delaware. In 2020, he expanded into media, founding Delaware LIVE, a statewide news platform. Kenny is also the founder of A Better Delaware, a non-partisan advocacy group promoting government transparency and economic growth.

George D. Rotsch

Interim Publisher, Vice President, Client Communications

George Rotsch is a veteran marketing professional with experience across digital and traditional media. A former Senior Partner at Trellist Marketing & Technology and a marketing strategist at DuPont, George now consults with various organizations on communication strategies, including Delaware non-profits, professional service firms, and advocacy groups. He is a board member with Candlelight Theatre, Catholic Charities, and other community groups. As the Interim Publisher and Vice President of Client Communications at Delaware LIVE, he ensures strong connections between the company and its clients. And he leads the marketing team.

Carol A. Houseal

Senior Sales Executive

Carol Houseal is a seasoned sales professional with extensive experience in communications and marketing. She previously worked as an Account Executive with Delaware Business Times/Today Media and served in leadership roles at Padua Academy, Intercollegiate Studies Institute, and Sandy Cove Conference Center. Carol has also worked in sales and marketing roles for Remington Arms and DuPont. For over 20 years, she has organized the Delaware Leadership Prayer Breakfast, a community  tradition; and actively volunteers for organizations such as the Delaware Leadership Foundation, Brandywine Valley Church and the Sunday Breakfast Mission. Carol holds a B.A. in Mass Communications from the University of Delaware and a A.A. from Goldey-Beacom College. She resides in Hockessin with her husband, Tim, a partner/attorney with Young Conaway Stargatt & Taylor, LLP. They have two grown daughters, Abbey and Sarah and currently serve as a host-family for 3 Philadelphia Union Academy soccer student-athletes.

Rich Schwartzman has been reporting on events in the greater Chadds Ford area since September 2001, when he became the founding editor of The Chadds Ford Post. In April 2009, he transitioned to Chadds Ford LIVE, where he now serves as managing editor. With a career spanning over two decades, Schwartzman has earned a reputation for his in-depth coverage of local government, education, and community events. He is an award-winning photographer who brings a unique visual storytelling element to his journalism. His dedication to accurate reporting and community engagement continues to make Chadds Ford LIVE a trusted source for local news.
