Longwood Gardens reopened Wednesday.
The Kennett Square, Pennyslvania, tourist magnet had closed last Thursday after a tractor-trailer truck drove into the gardens’ visitor center, Pennsylvania State Police said. The accident likely was caused by a mechanical problem.
Longwood, a former du Pont estate turned regional attraction powerhouse, closed then and remained closed through the weekend.
A spokeswoman said the gardens would refund money for any tickets sold that weekend.
