Inclement weather in Delaware and other parts of the county means a second-dose vaccination clinic planned in Dover will begin Sunday, rather than Saturday.
Delaware is facing its own storm forecast, but the bad weather elsewhere matters because the event is run by traveling Federal Emergency Management Agency personnel and the state.
The appointment-only operation at Dover International Speedway will open at 11 a.m. Sunday and run through Feb. 25. Depending on demand, it may also run on Feb. 26. Appointments are available at de.gov/fema.
These second-dose appointments will only be available for people who received a first dose from the Delaware Division of Public Health at the Dover Division of Motor Vehicles on Jan. 16-18, Salesianum School on Jan. 18, Delaware City DMV on Jan. 22-24 and the Georgetown DMV on Jan. 23-24. Details are the stateâs website.
