WILMINGTON — Avelo Airlines has resumed nonstop service between Wilmington Airport (ILG) and Nashville International Airport (BNA), offering the only direct flights between Delaware and Tennessee’s capital.
The route, which relaunched May 1, operates twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays using Boeing 737 aircraft.
“The return of Avelo’s nonstop service to Nashville from Wilmington Airport showcases the continued demand for convenient, affordable and industry- leading reliability,” said Avelo Airlines Founder and CEO Andrew Levy.
“Our Customers have asked for its return, and we listened! Likewise, getting to the Philadelphia / Delaware Valley is now easier than ever for those in Music City. With 14 nonstop options, we continue to share Avelo’s low fares and over a dozen nonstop options with our Philadelphia / Delaware Valley Customers.”

Later this month, Avelo will add two more destinations from ILG—Jacksonville, Florida, and Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina—bringing its total nonstop offerings from the airport to 14 cities.
Avelo began operations in 2021 and currently serves 53 cities across 21 states, Puerto Rico, and three international locations. According to 2024 data from Anuvu, the airline had the best on-time performance in the industry and the lowest cancellation rate.
