65th annual state individual wrestling championships saw a 55-year-old record broken

The 65th annual DIAA state individual wrestling championships by a 55 year old record being broke

First round scores:

Archmere Academy defeated Delaware Military Academy (DMA) 4-0. Samuel Gattuso lead the Auks scoring four goals in the contest, while Joseph Iacono scored the other goal for Archmere. Archmere will face Newark Charter at Newark Charter this Saturday December 5th at 1:00 pm.

St Marks defeated McKean 4-0. They will move on to face the #1 seed Indian River at Indian River this Saturday December 5th at 6:00 pm.

Caravel defeated Delmar 7-0. Caravel was led by Michael Anderson and Miles Hood scoring two goals each for the Buccaneers. Caravel will move on to face #4 Sussex Academy at Sussex Academy Saturday December 5th at 1:00 pm.

MOT Charter defeated Wilmington Friends 2-0. MOT was led by Cameron Green and Johnathan Daniel who scored one goal each for the Mustangs. MOT will move on to face Brandywine at Brandywine this Saturday December 5th at 1:00 pm
