A reward has doubled for information leading to an arrest in the case of a baby who was shot.
A reward has doubled for information leading to an arrest in the case of a baby who was shot.

An anonymous donor has matched the county’s reward for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for shooting two people, including a 9-month-old toddler, in the Rosegate neighborhood on Nov. 4.

The donation doubles the amount of the reward to $15,000.

“We are thankful to the generosity of this anonymous donor to help encourage anyone with information to come forward,” said New Castle County Executive Matt Meyer.

 

Anyone with information and/or video pertaining to the investigation is asked to contact Det. DiNardo at 302-395-8110 or David.DiNardo@newcastlede.gov or the New Castle County Division of Police non-emergency number at 302-573-2800 or by Messenger on Facebook.

Citizens also can submit a tip via the county’s website,  http://www.nccpd.com or on the New Castle County Division of Police Facebook page.  If a person wishes to remain anonymous, they can text 847411 with NCCDE in the text field and the information..
