10 Million and Counting! Middletown Woman’s Video of Amazon Driver Goes National

Kathy Ouma may be one of the best-known kind-hearted souls in American this week.

The Middletown woman regularly provides drinks and snacks on her Middletown front porch for delivery drivers to enjoy as they carry out their routes.

On Monday, Ouma posted video captured by her Ring.com porch camera of an Amazon delivery driver dancing a jig of delight after encountering the cookies, crackers and cold Coke that was on offer.  The Facebook post quickly caught the internet’s attention, clocking an astounding 10 million views by Thursday evening.

Ouma placed water bottles, sodas, Oreos and more by her front door with a note to UPS, USPS, Amazon and FedEx drivers.  The note read, “Please take some goodies to enjoy on your route. Thank you for making holiday shopping easy.”

Amazon delivery driver Karim Earl Reed III is seen putting on some fine dance moves rejoicing over the Ouma’s kindness.

Reed is heard to say “Oh, this is nice!” and “Ah, they got some goodies! Wow! Oh, this is sweet! Oh, wow, get out of here!”

Commenters were impressed and inspired by the Delawarean’s gesture.

“That is indeed very nice! That’s a good idea. Feel guilty for not doing the same,” said one commenter.  “The drivers and delivery guys do make our holiday shopping a lot easier and it’s nice to show our appreciation this way. Thanks, Kathy, for the idea and also to the delivery guys and drives as well!”
