Construction has already begun on Garden of Eden Road in North Wilmington across from the Siegle JCC

A key North Wilmington side road just off Concord Pike will be closing for two months, DelDOT has announced.

Garden of Eden Road between Taunton Road and U.S. 202 is scheduled to be closed beginning 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 28th until Friday, August 24th, “pending weather and other unforeseen circumstances,” the state road’s agency said.

The Siegle JCC is located on Garden of Eden Road, which also connects Edenridge to Concord Pike/Route 202

During the roadway construction, Reybold Construction Group, LLC will be relocating utilities, improving the roadway, and constructing a commercial entrance/exit.  The construction is associated with the Columbia Place development on the former location of the Pilot School – a senior living community that includes a collection of condominiums and single-family homes.

DelDOT says the entrance to the Jewish Community Center (JCC) on Garden of Eden Road will remain open and accessible via U.S. 202.
