TSD: Delaware’s best take on events, community and local life

The Delaware Children’s Theatre hatched a new idea just in time for Easter! The theatre hosted its first storybook character breakfast on Saturday, giving kids the chance to visit with some of their favorite characters from many of the shows they have seen at the DCT. The lucky kids also had an opportunity to visit with a friendly Peter Cottontail on this Easter weekend.

It was a virtual dream come true for the little tots who sat beside or posed for pictures with Dorothy and Toto, Ariel, Tinkerbell, Mary Poppins, Pippi Longstocking, Annie, Cinderella and Pinnochio. In addition to the kid-friendly buffet breakfasts at 9 and 11 am, some of the older costumed teens led the younger ones in song and dance and helped provide a memorable morning for everyone.
