TSD: Delaware’s best take on events, community and local life
The 2017 Contemporary Gala, the Delaware Contemporary’s annual fundraiser, was a spectacular evening of art and elegance, featuring fine cuisine and auctions of contemporary art and luxury items.

But this year’s event also featured special aerial performances by In the Dark Circus Arts, live music by Unplugged Lights, and a special pre-party dinner in the galleries for Patron level supporters.

Over 130 guests enjoyed fabulous food provided by Jimmy Duffy Catering, Sicilian wines donated by Di Giovanna, and spirits and craft beers courtesy of Dogfish Head Brewery’s Beer & Benevolence program.

Funds raised from the Gala benefit The Delaware Contemporary’s exhibitions and education programs. The Gala was generously sponsored by Diamond Sponsor DuPont, as well as Highmark Delaware, WSFS, and the Delaware Division of the Arts.
