The Bearded Ladies cabaret company is not your garden-variety theatrical group. With costumes ranging from flowers and ferns to weeds and and bumble bees, the troupe’s performance of “Bitter Homes & Gardens” on Friday in Wilmington asked the question, “If plants had voices, what would they sing?”

The lyrics were indeed hilarious as the Bearded Ladies performed on the lawn of the Delaware Art Museum‘s Copeland Sculpture Garden. Visitors brought lawn chairs, picnics and a sense of humor as they settled in for an evening of fun. With non-stop humor by the passionate acting group, it was a memorable evening and an experience not quite like any other!
