They may never have boarded a plane, but students at Serviam Girls Academy traveled the globe last month, bringing the tastes, sights and history of countless countries and cultures right into their Wilmington classroom.
Students and their families celebrated multicultural diversity by introducing guests 15 countries throughout Australia, Oceania, South America, Europe and Asia in just one night. Girls performed native dances, folktale plays, Chinese alphabet writing, and Origami demonstrations and offered up delicious cuisine from around the world. Visitors also enjoyed elaborate displays for each country and had the chance to learn about the summer curriculum offered at Serviam.
It was a fun and enjoyable learning experience for all!
