Wilmington’s Riverfront was filled with outstanding live music all weekend long as artists from around the country performed at the annual Blues Festival. The three-day event at Tubman-Garrett Park included emerging artists as well as well-known blues artists like Koko Taylor, Pinetop Perkins and Elvin Bishop — over 40 performers and groups across two stages. And this year concert-goers feasted on hickory-smoked barbecue as several restaurants took part in a BBQ cook-off.
