The latest outdoor dining and entertainment attraction at Wilmington’s Riverfront is drawing a big crowd and thumbs up from patrons since Constitution Yards beer garden opened June 24th. When TSD visited the city watering hole on Sunday, families, groups of friends and couples were taking part in backyard games such as bocce ball and corn hole toss while sipping on cold beer and noshing on tasty pub fare.

Constitution Yards, which features beach chairs spread out in sandpits and picnic tables overlooking the water, has been granted temporary approval to remain open through July 18th at their Justin Landing location. The beer garden is hoping to receive a two-year license agreement from the Alcoholic Beverage and Control Board and remain open through the fall. Their menu includes assorted appetizers, salads, sandwiches as well as craft beers and cocktails.
