History-making explorer Alison Levine impressed several hundred guests at Padua Academy‘s 7th annual Dinner in Honor of Women’s Achievement on April 14th. Levine has completed an Adventure Grand Slam — climbing the seven summits — and skied the North and South Poles. She had extraordinary stories to tell to the Padua supporters at the Chase Center on the Riverfront about her mountain adventures, leadership principles as well as her life on Wall Street. “I needed to earn money so I could follow my passion of climbing,” she said. On the ever-present threats of climbing the world’s tallest peaks Levine remarked, “Fear is okay. It’s complacency that can kill you.”
