Nativity Preparatory School raised an impressive $300,000 for student scholarships at their annual In Vino Veritas dinner on April 9th. School and event planners transformed the atrium at Hercules Plaza, with some 30 candlelit dinner tables, multiple hors d’oeuvres stations and a gleaming silent auction area. Several Wilmington-area educators, including those from Archmere, Freire Charter, Sanford SchoolSalesianumServiam AcademyTatnall and Teach for America were among the 320 guests who attend the wine dinner, which raises funds for scholarships at Nativity Prep. Kim DiGiacomo and Dawn Williams served as event co-chairs, and long-time supporters Paul and Linda McConnell were the evening’s honorary co-chairs.
