Tasty Bites at Pancakes for Paws

Picture 1 of 17

Friends of the Faithful Friends Animal Society enjoyed hot coffee and pancakes at their annual Pancakes for Paws fundraiser on Sunday. Some 350 people dropped by the Elks Lodge in Wilmington for an enjoyable breakfast featuring quiche, fritters, and of course pancakes with loads of toppings, helping raise $5,000 for the non-profit. The Kenny Family Foundation supported the event by underwriting the breakfast and WJBR broadcast live from the breakfast. Miss Wilmington Katelynn Mayers and Miss Christiana Outstanding Teen Cassidy Sullivan also mingled with the dog lovers.
