If you were looking for some chilly winter fun, you could find it last weekend at the Delaware Children Museum’s Snowflake Festival. The museum transformed into a winter wonderland with lots of cool activities such as the ‘winter slime buffet,’ snowflake viewing through a microscope, and ‘wintery sensory science,’ which showed kids the science behind insta-snow. And kids loved Steve the Magic Conductor, who performed his reading program “The Caboose Mystery.” The annual fundraiser supports the DCM’s Breaking Barriers Campaign, which enables families to enter the museum even if there is a financial barrier.
