Warm French crepes and Martha Stewart-like decorated sugar cookies are two of the many offerings that make the Wawaset Holiday Market so special each year. Saturday’s outdoor gift show, which took place in the historic Wilmington community of Wawaset Park, included handmade crafts and winter accessories, dazzling ornaments, locally-made food items like artisnal cheese spreads, gourmet honey and jams, one-of-a-kind gifts, stunning fresh wreaths, table-top greens and freshly cut Christmas trees. Established retailers like Petals, Kurtz Collection and Annie Prue also participated, selling gifts, accessories and holiday decor. “We were really excited about the vendors this year, especially those who make their own products that you generally won’t find at retailers,” said organizer Jennifer Steiner. Proceeds will benefit the Sunday Breakfast Mission.
