It’s a Jolly Holiday with Mary! Disney’s exuberant “Mary Poppins” is already delighting audiences at the Delaware Children’s Theatre and continues through December 20th. With exciting musical numbers like “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” and “Spoonful of Sugar,” the show is both a spectacle and a warm family story. The Banks family is in conflict, and the children, Jane and Michael Banks, run wild until Mary Poppins, a magical nanny, takes them under her wing. Amanda Blain Shepard is a spot on Mary Poppins and Kenn Koubek shines as Bert, the chimney sweep.

This special show also features a guest appearance by members of the Wilmington Ballet Junior Company as dancing chimney sweeps. There’s a special wine and cheese night on December 19 at 7:30 because Mary Poppins is not just for kids. It’s a timeless classic the whole family will love! Shows are 2 pm on Saturdays and Sundays and tickets available here.
