Healthy turnout for the Saint Francis Foundation 5K today! Some 650 walkers and runners traversed the 3.1-mile Riverfront course to raise funds for operating and capital needs of the St. Francis Hospital as well as the three outreach programs which serve some of the neediest adults and children in our community. Like last year, pre-registered participants received high-quality, handsome pullovers — perfect on this cool day.

The top male and female winners of this Races2Run event were William Rehrig, of Bear, Delaware, and Laurie Finnical, of New Jersey. Shout out to two TSD supporters who also finished tops in their age groups: Ursuline running coach Linda Odle, in the Female 50 – 59 category, and Faithful Friends Development Director Brittany Anthony, who took 1st in the 19 – 29 group.

Don’t miss the Saint Francis Foundation’s annual children’s holiday gala: The Reindeer Ball, Saturday, December 6th at the DuPont Country Club.
