Since the opening of the Women’s Business Center (WBC) at First State Community Loan Fund last fall, nearly 600 Delaware entrepreneurs have received more than 1,200 hours of training to plan, launch and grow their own businesses!

To celebrate the WBC’s first anniversary, more than 115 women – and men! – from Delaware’s business and nonprofit communities recently gathered at White Clay Creek Country Club. The celebration, planned and organized by WBC clients, highlighted the impact the WBC has made on the business community and launched the WBC’s new campaign, “Business is the New Beautiful!” Visit the WBC Facebook page to learn more about the program.
