Hundreds of Italian food and wine lovers enjoyed a new and larger venue and incredible weather at this year’s Vendemmia da Vinci festival. To accommodate the event’s growing popularity, festival organizers moved this year’s Vendemmia to Bellevue State Park from Wilmington’s riverfront. “Bellevue State Park offers our guests the opportunity to enjoy one of most highly rated Italian American Festivals in one of the most beautiful and natural settings in the state of Delaware,” said Festival Chairman Ron Oronzio. Restaurants and other food vendors offered a range of savory delights, including paella, pasta and pate. And wine merchants offered samples all afternoon.
