The Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware hosted their annual “Day for Kids” this past weekend, bringing smiles to thousands of faces of kids who took part in the free all-day party. There were activities, rides, games, music and entertainment all along Wilmington’s Riverfront — from Tubman GarrettPark all the way to Dravo Plaza. Fun for the whole family, the free-admission event is one of the hallmark events the Boys & Girls Club hosts each year. BGCDE is the largest before-school and after-school care provider program in the state, serving 20,000 youth — one out of every five school-aged children in Delaware.
