The Red Shoe Society made a splash last week at Satsuma Asian Kitchen and Bar, where well of 100 friends gathered to support their guest bartending event. The event took place on Thursday night, when the skies opened up over Wilmington, making the effort of the young professionals who braved the elements that much more notable. 100% of tips that night benefitted the Ronald McDonald House of Delaware. The Society’s signature social and fundraising event — Red Shoe & Brew — is on Saturday, Oct. 3rd. This year’s event will still be held on the grounds of Twin Lakes Farm, even though Twin Lakes Brewery is no longer located on the Greenville property. This year there will be a few beer manufacturers on hand and of course the signature barbecue, music and lawn games.
