What’s better than a black-tie summer gala under gorgeous skies at a stunning mansion, featuring epicurean delights, sip-sational drinks, and great band music to swing by? When nearly 800 people have the same idea and turn out for the said fete! This was the largest party Nemours / Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children had ever thrown in the 10-year history of the event. Night at Nemours co-chairs and committee members invited their best friends to a night of dinner and dancing, where some saw for the first time the new state-of-the-art hospital wing and the beautiful grounds of the mansion, gardens and hospital at sunset. The hospital is $18,000 away from their $500,000 goal.
