]The first outdoor carnival of the spring season drew crowds all weekend long at Wilmington’s Riverfront last weekend. Crews were still tidying up the area where the Riverfront outdoor winter ice-skating rink had been when the amusement company set up the merry-go-round, “Chaos” and other rides next to Frawley stadium. This wasn’t a typical church or school-related festival — just a short weekend of fun in the sun for residents and families who were happy to celebrate the return of spring.
