Young professionals at the 5th annual Chips for Charity gala were treated to a night filled with casino-style games, lavish prizes and a bit of Lady Luck as they helped raise more than $35,000 for STEM education programs in Delaware. The Next Generation of the Delaware Community Foundation hosts the event each spring as part of their mission to bring young people together to support philanthropic causes in Delaware. The March 7th fete was held at the colorful Delaware Center for Contemporary Art, and a record number of people attended this year. The group has raised money for the Stem initiative — Science, Technology, Engineering and Math — for the last few years.
