Most women donned alluring shades of gray at the 50 Shades of Red Balloons event last week. The 2nd annual Cancer Support Community of Delaware event for Wilmington’s ‘younger’ generation of philanthropists was a big success despite postponement due to weather. Guests enjoyed bidding on the silent auction while taking in the evening’s signature drink, A Sip of Hope, as well as hors d’ oeuvres donated by local restaurants. 50 Shades Committee members Michele Harra, Becky Phillips, Cindy Cucuzzella, Jolie Houston and Stephanie Jablow hoped the event would  spread awareness about CSCDE, which helps people impacted by cancer.  The committee was grateful to the many donors who made the evening possible.
