Friends raised a glass for the Cancer Support Community of Delaware last weekend at a gourmet food and wine tasting event at DuPont Country Club’s historic Brantywn Estate. The Wine &  Spirit Co. of Greenville selected CSCDE as their non-profit beneficiary this year, and several staff members were on hand to fill glasses and make recommendations. The Ultimate Wine Experience featured tastings of over 90 varieties of wines (some were $700 each!), whiskey, and champagne, as well as heavy hors d’ oeuvres, caviar, flank steak, and a mashed potato bar served in martini glasses. A significant portion of the proceeds were donated to CSCDE.
