Girls on the Run of Delaware kicked off their running shoes last week to host a cocktail party and film festival at the Delaware Museum of Natural History. Lunafest, which travels to several cities around the U.S., featured nine award-winning short films for and about women. Some 120 friends of GOTR turned out for the fundraiser, and several remarked how creative, inspiring and humorous the films were. “We were so happy the Delaware Museum of Natural History provided their space to us,” remarked GOTR Development Director Jane Castle. “The venue was ideal for our guests — perfect for chatting, socializing, and viewing films amidst the dinosaur and other interesting exhibits.”  The evening raised funds to support one full scholarship team of 15 girls. The fall GOTR 5Ks are Saturday, Nov 15 in Wilmington and Saturday, Dec 6 in Kent/Sussex.
