Young friends of the Ronald McDonald House of Delaware felt right at home on the grounds of Twin Lakes Brewery as they celebrated the 3rd annual Red Shoe & Brew party fundraiser. Some 350 guests mingled, sipped, nibbled and danced on a gorgeous, sun drenched afternoon on the historic family-owned Greenville property. The day included brewery tours and of course Twin Lakes on tap, lawn games, music by Last Resort and delicious barbecue by Fat Rick’s. The Red Shoe Society, which hosted the event, helped raise some $20,000 for the non-profit. The Ronald McDonald House of Delaware provides a “home away from home” for families of seriously or chronically ill or injured children receiving treatment at area hospitals.
