Nemours A.I. duPont Hospital for Children held a dedication gala last Thursday to celebrate the opening of large multi-million dollar expansion, which is outfitted with new private patient rooms and other attractive amenities. Several hundred doctors, nurses, administrators and other staff and supporters attended the tented celebration and then toured the state-of-the-art facility. A collaborative choir from St. mark’s High School, Sanford School, Cab Calloway School of the Arts, the Imagination Players, Delaware Children’s Theatre, Delaware All State Theatre, Christina Cultural Arts Center, Wilmington Children’s Chorus and Able Arts sang Michael Jackson’s “Heal the World.”
