Team Delaware returned from the Special Olympics 2014 USA Games decorated in medals. Delaware athletes won an impressive 18 gold, 14 silver and 11 bronze medals at the Games, held June 14-21 in Princeton, New Jersey, and surrounding areas.  The Special Olympics USA Games is an enormous undertaking, and Team Delaware was grateful to the generosity of its sponsor Wawa and the many volunteers who helped propel Team Delaware to so many victories. In all, 68 Delaware athletes and Unified partners competed in 12 sports during the week-long event that included 3,500 total athletes from all 50 states. Congratulations Team Delaware!
