A gorgeous May Sunday morning was a perfect backdrop for the sixth annual “Moms on a Mission” 5K along the Brandywine River. The annual fundraising race benefits the Delaware Adolescent Program, Inc. (DAPI), a statewide nonprofit that provides an educational alternative for pregnant and parenting teens. Participants who ran, walked, strolled or volunteered enjoyed a post-race breakfast courtesy of ShopRite and a chance to win gift cards and goodies donated by sponsors.
