Remember when beef ‘n beer events would net a couple of hundred dollars for an organization? Well, Delaware Hospice blew the doors off of that fundraising model, raising a whopping $17,000 at its recent “Beef and Brew” event, held at Georgetown’s CHEER Center! According to organizer Peggy Dolby, more than 200 guests attended the fundraiser, which also featured a silent auction and live entertainment by the Funsters.
