Children from Christ Church Episcopal Preschool showed off their very best peddling skills to raise money for St. Jude Children Research Hospital in Memphis, TN. Kids learned about bike and trike safety, demonstrated their riding techniques, and raised nearly $900 for St. Jude on April 10. From foot-powered riding toys to tricycles and bicycles, the colorful parade featured careful observation of safety rules, including always wearing a helmet, observation of “slow” and “stop” signs, being careful near driveways, and never riding in the street. The children completed a circuit in front of the school with the two-year olds making it once around, and four and five-year olds circling at least twice. Children received their Trike License at the conclusion of the event.
