There was more than a little Luck o’ the Irish on Saturday as Wilmington celebrated St. Patrick’s Day! Parade goers couldn’t have asked for better weather, as the Irish Culture Club of Delaware hosted their 38th annual event in downtown Wilmington under sunny skies and 60 degree temperatures. Families and erstwhile St. Paddy’s celebrants lined King Street and enjoyed the spirit of the day as they watched high school marching bands, dance groups,various floats, leprechauns, volunteer organizations, restaurants and other businesses, and, of course, politicians stroll by.
