A tennis fundraiser that lasts all night long? A Tennithon, of course! The Delaware Tennis Foundation’s 2014 Tennithon raised about $4,500 and drew some 70 kids out for non-stop action at the DuPont Country Club March 1 – 2.

Junior tennis players registered, gathered sponsors,  then hit the courts for 10 hours of drills, games and match play. And the competition heated up over on the ping pong table. “I was never, ever bored,” said 12-year-old Greg Fleming, who played with several friends from Sanford and Tower Hill. “But by Sunday morning, my feet were killing me!”
