Hundreds turned out to support 4-year-old Eliza O’Neill and Sanfilippo Syndrome research at the Chase Center on the Riverfront in December. Friends and family have rallied in several ways since Eliza’s diagnosis to offer support and help find a cure for this rare genetic disorder. Glenn O’Neill (’90) and his four brothers — Joe, Darren, Kevin and Ryan — are Sallesianum School graduates.  Classmate Dan Fraley (’90), Glenn’s brothers and parents, and friends Steve and Amy Iwasyk planned the fundraiser, which raised more than $35,000, and they are leading efforts to raise additional funds. “To see so many people gathered together for the sole purpose of supporting the O’Neill family and this cause was inspiring and touching,” said Fraley.  “It was a fabulous night.”
