TSD: Delaware’s best take on events, community and local life

dsclogo2The best girls high school basketball teams from around the country converge on St. Elizabeth’s Dec 27-30 for this annual tournament benefitting the Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation.  A few lucky teams are paired with B+ Heroes (children with cancer) who get to join them on the bench. The Diamond State Classic, featuring 20 teams in all, includes 10 Delaware high school teams: Caesar Rodney, Caravel Academy, Concord, Delaware Military Academy, Padua, St. Elizabeth’s, St. Marks , St. Thomas More, Tatnall and Ursuline.
